About
Mindful Movement, Intentional Strength
Nell came to Pilates through a deep appreciation for presence. A licensed therapist with a background in cognitive and behavioral therapies (CBT, DBT, and OCD-focused care), she was immediately drawn to the way Pilates demands your full attention. “You can’t be anywhere else,” she says. “To do it well, you have to slow down, be intentional, and really listen to your body.”
That mindfulness—so central to both her personal and professional life—is what led Nell to become an instructor. She sees Pilates as a powerful tool not just for physical strength, but for mind-body awareness. “There’s something therapeutic about it,” she explains. “It’s calming, centering. You walk into the studio and it’s like a physical sigh. You leave feeling stronger but somehow more relaxed—like you’ve worked out and gotten a massage at the same time.”
Nell brings a holistic approach to every session, helping clients build both physical resilience and internal clarity. Her teaching style is calm, grounded, and deeply intentional—restorative, but with purpose.
