The Deck is yours for the whole class – no sharing, no waiting, no rotating in.
THE LIFT NYC
StrengthDeck

How It Works
Book your Deck.
01
A coach runs the room.
Walk in, find your station, and a coach takes you through programmed strength work. Show up – that’s the only decision you have to make.
02
Leave actually stronger.
You’ll feel it the next day, and you’ll see it in a few weeks.
03
The gap nobody filled — until now
Cardio classes leave you sweaty, not stronger. Big-box gyms mean waiting, sharing, and being watched. Personal training works but can be cost prohibitive. StrengthDeck is the thing that should have existed all along.

PT-caliber
Programmed strength work, coached every rep — without the personal-trainer price tag
8
Eight people in the room, eight private stations. No mirror crowd, no line for the rack, no “are you using that?”
1 Station
Your rack, your bar, your dumbbells, your cable, your bench. Nothing rotates. Nothing waits.
"I've been lifting for years and the same thing happened every time I walked into a gym: wait for the rack, share the dumbbells, get watched in the mirror. The workout I actually wanted - heavy, programmed, uninterrupted - didn't exist in a group format. So we built it." - Ashley Culver
(How it came to life)
“I took Ashley’s vision of what she wanted for our members and her expertise on what optimal training looks like, and developed a concept that has never been done before. It seems obvious now that it exists, but we looked at every concept out there and simply thought that they weren’t good enough – not something that is truly effective for every person at every skill level, and something that you can never outgrow.” – Casey Culver
Frequently asked questions
Do I need any experience to take a StrengthDeck class?
No. StrengthDeck is built for people who’ve never touched a barbell as well as for experienced lifters. Every class is coach-led, every lift is demoed, and your station is set up before you arrive. If you can show up, you can take the class.
How is StrengthDeck different from a regular gym or CrossFit?
At a regular gym, you share equipment and program your own workout. At CrossFit, you share equipment and follow a high-intensity, high-skill conditioning workout. At StrengthDeck, you get your own complete station – rack, barbell, dumbbells, bench, plyo box, cable, and landmine – and a coach takes you through a real strength workout. No sharing, no rotating, no guessing.
How many people are in a class?
One coach, eight Decks, eight lifters. Every person has a complete, private station for the entire class.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, athletic clothing, and training shoes. We have a place to fill your water bottle if you bring one, but we also have drinks for purchase.
What if I've never lifted before?
Tell your coach when you arrive. They’ll walk you through every movement, scale weights to where you’re starting, and make sure your form is solid before you load up. Most people who think they “aren’t ready” turn out to be exactly the people StrengthDeck was built for.
