Sofi Ameglio

Movement has always been home for Sofi. Originally from Argentina and now based in New York, she brings a lifetime of dance, performance, and teaching to every session—whether it’s on the mat, the reformer, or the stage.

As a professional dancer, actor, and certified Pilates instructor, Sofi is passionate about helping people feel strong, grounded, and at ease in their bodies. Her approach blends anatomical precision with creative expression—meeting each client exactly where they are, with care, curiosity, and joy.

Sofi specializes in making movement accessible and inclusive. She has extensive experience teaching older adults, visually impaired clients, and pre/postnatal populations. Her sessions are both intelligent and intuitive, designed to support strength, mobility, and connection at every stage of life.

A graduate of the Martha Graham School, Sofi continues to perform across all five boroughs, with a practice rooted in tango, jazz, contemporary, and beyond. When she’s not teaching, she’s moving—on stage, in the studio, or out in the rhythm of the city.
