At Lift NYC, we believe strength is personal. It’s not about competing with others — it’s about becoming the strongest version of yourself. Strength looks different for everyone, and we’re here for the people who want more from their bodies, their movement, and their lives.
We also believe in real connection — between client and coach, mind and body, effort and results. In a city built on intensity, we offer something rare: a focused space where your goals are respected, your time is valued, and your progress is intentional.
Coaching Philosophy
We don’t sell workouts. We offer expert coaching.
At Lift NYC, coaching is at the heart of everything we do. We’re not interested in trendy routines or cookie-cutter programs. Instead, we focus on real, lasting progress — through smart, personalized guidance and genuine connection.
Our personal trainers are educators as much as they are motivators. They listen carefully, assess thoughtfully, and adjust with purpose. Whether you’re new to fitness, rehabbing an injury, or chasing a performance goal, every session is built around you — your needs, your capacity, and your future.
We bring a long-view approach that emphasizes biomechanics, intentional progression, and clear communication. This applies to our 1-on-1 personal training, small-group strength classes, and even our Pilates instruction. You won’t be guessing your way through a session — you’ll understand what you’re doing, why it matters, and how it’s moving you forward.
At Lift NYC, coaching means trust, structure, and results.
Our Offering
We specialize in two core disciplines: personalized strength training and Reformer Pilates — offered in two dedicated boutique fitness studios on the Upper West Side of NYC. Each location is purpose-built to deliver a focused experience, free from the noise and distractions of big-box gyms.
Our strength training studio is equipped for intentional, progressive work — whether you’re building foundational strength or fine-tuning performance. Just a few blocks away, our Pilates studio provides a serene, natural light-filled environment designed for precision, control, and connection to your body.
Every offering is grounded in our belief that coaching changes everything. We don’t just provide access to equipment — we offer structure, feedback, and accountability from skilled professionals who care. Whether you’re with us for personal training or Pilates, you’ll receive thoughtful programming, real guidance, and a path forward that actually makes sense.
At Lift NYC, we’re more than a gym — we’re a coaching-first personal training and Pilates studio located in the heart of the Upper West Side. We help New Yorkers build real strength, recover from injuries, and feel at home in their bodies again.
